I have a question for you: How am I supposed to shepherd the puppies if Mom keeps crating me? Today, she asked me to go to my house twice and, each time I came out, another puppy was gone! Mom tells me that this is okay. She reminds me that the kids are going to great forever homes and that I will still get to practice with Neon.
Normandy, now to known as Zeus, left this morning for his forever home. He has an older brother, also a yellow lab, and five, yes FIVE children of his own! Zeus is reportedly settling in quite nicely.
Mom has oohed and aahed over several photos sent through her phone.
Nova also has gone on to her new home. Mom dropped her off this afternoon. I am told that she will be reunited with Nelly, so I know she will be in good hands.
Nike leaves tomorrow with her family. I've met them and can vouch that they are good people. Nike will have two little girls of her own to run with. She'll have fun!
While on the subject of dispersal, one of Joker's puppies is still in need of a forever home! His name is Dealer and he is a 10 week old Black Labrador Retriever. He is very sweet and very well mannered. Can anyone help him?
And now, dear readers, Neon and I have to make some plans for fun. First on tap is to show Neon how much fun going for walks can be. Then I simply must convince Mom and my aunts to take him on a field trip to the dog park and also to the farm. I just know he'll love it!
