Hello!
I've been so preoccupied that I've fallen behind in my correspondence. My apologies!
To catch you up dear readers, here is a summary:
Mom and my aunts moved the four horses from Shepherd's Gate Farm to a place called Hodge Arena. The move was to give the farm's fields a break and to let the grass grow. It also allows the horses and riders to exercise over the winter. Mom tells me that the riding surface is protected by a roof and walls, making it dry and warmer than riding out in the fields.
Neon celebrated his twelfth week birthday this past Thursday. He's growing bigger and stronger every day and he's very smart, just like me. He knows how to get out of his playpen by lifting the door if Mom forgets to latch it. It's pretty funny when Mom realizes that Neon is laying at her feet, knowing that she had put him in the playpen and shut the door.
I have figured out that I can walk over the top of my crate to get into the bedroom and sleep. Mom blocks the door with the crate to try and keep Neon and me out so that we don't bother the cat. It works for Neon but I'm taller and I love to jump! Mom wasn't teaching me agility for nothing...uh oh, Mom just had an idea about that. I can see it in her face as she types my dictation.
While on the subject of agility, have I mentioned how much fun it is? I get to jump and go through tunnels! I also love, love, LOVE to play fetch with my red ball! It's a bouncy ball, and I like the challenge of catching it on the bounce. I'm teaching Neon all about fetch. He's learning quickly and will need his own ball soon.
What sorts of games do you love?
Happy Valentines Day!
Love from Tink
